CareerNotes.net is not only your place for notes, courses, & educational resources, but also a digital marketplace for courses and study notes—similar to platforms like Coursera or Udemy. By becoming a tutor on our platform, you can create and sell your courses or notes to learners while we handle the technical and operational work.
Below are the core terms governing our working relationship:
1. Ownership of Content
You retain full ownership of all course materials you create. By uploading them to the platform, you grant CareerNotes.net permission to host, display, and deliver your content to learners.
2. Commission Structure
CareerNotes.net charges a 20% commission on every sale. You receive 80% of the revenue, paid out through your preferred method. We have mobile money, bank transfers, and others. Your clients also will be able to make payments for your courses using mobile money (Mtn & Airtel), M-pesa, Visa and Mastercards, American Express, etc. We reserve the right to update the commission in the future, but any change will be communicated in advance.
3. Responsibilities
- Your role: Create high-quality courses or notes, ensure accuracy, update content when needed, and promote your work to your own audience.
- Our role: Provide the platform, manage payments, deliver purchased materials to learners, handle basic support, and occasionally promote your content across our channels.
4. Content Standards
All materials must be original, accurate, lawful, and free from plagiarism. We may remove content that violates platform guidelines or legal standards.
5. Payment Schedule
Tutor earnings are paid out on a monthly basis, subject to clearance of transactions and verification of sales.
6. Platform Use
CareerNotes.net may update features, policies, or terms to improve the platform. Continued use implies acceptance of updated terms.
7. Termination
You may remove your content at any time. CareerNotes.net may suspend or terminate accounts that violate our policies or harm the platform.
