Teaching Methodology for Nurses & Health Workers
About Course
Teaching Methodology is a foundational course designed to equip nursing students with the knowledge, skills, and attitudes necessary to facilitate effective learning in both classroom and clinical settings.

It introduces learners to the principles, processes, and practices of teaching and learning, enabling them to plan, deliver, and evaluate educational experiences that promote professional competence in nursing.
As nursing and midwifery continually evolve into an education-based and evidence-driven profession, every nurse becomes a teacher — whether guiding patients on health practices, mentoring junior colleagues, or facilitating classroom instruction.
Through this course, students will explore how people learn, how teaching can be made effective, and how educational technology, communication, and assessment support the teaching–learning process.
The course emphasizes reflective practice, creativity, and professionalism in teaching, preparing future nurse-educators and practitioners to contribute meaningfully to health education, training, and lifelong learning.
